Discover Duluth's Maritime Legacy: A special Evening with LSMMA


Prospective Members! The Lake Superior Marine Museum Association (LSMMA) invites you to a screening of Emmy Award Winner Ian Grant’s “Duluth” episode from the acclaimed PBS series Culture Quest.


When: Tuesday, May 5 | 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Where: Zeitgeist Zinema 2, Downtown Duluth

Cost: Free and open to the public, no registration required

Extras: Concessions available for purchase at the theater


Join LSMMA for an evening of local maritime history and community connection at Zeitgeist Zinema 2 in downtown Duluth. Come early and mingle with fellow maritime history buffs, “boat nerds” and members of the LSMMA board. Get an up-close look at artifacts from the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center’s collection, browse the latest edition of Know Your Ships, and flip through LSMMA’s Nor’easter newsletter to see the exclusive content our members enjoy.


The LSMMA is a 501c(3) nonprofit that seeks to preserve the maritime heritage of Lake Superior and the Port of Duluth-Superior through education and collaboration. Come to this event to learn more about LSMMA and how you can support more community events like this in the future!

GALES OF NOVEMBER


The 2026 Gales of November event will be held on November 6 & 7.  This past year was a big success with excellent speakers and an informative bus tour of local facilities. Thank You to all attendees!
